Location: Roman Park, 99 Fosse Way, Syston, Leicester, LE7 1NH

We are pleased to announce that we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.

Roman Park is a 14-bedded residential service in Syston where we support adults with learning disabilities and autism.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Enabling and supporting people to learn new skills towards living more independently.
  • Providing personal care.
  • Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
  • Shift patterns will include 8 am-3 pm, 7 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 9 pm, 8 am to 8 pm, 3 pm- 10 pm, waking nights 8 pm-8 am. Sleep-ins and weekend working required.
  • This position is 40 hours per week, working across a variety of shift patterns. We can also provide additional flexibility offering part time hours or even waking nights only.
  • Occasionally the opportunity to accompany our residents on holidays abroad or in the UK may occur.

Who you are:

  • You will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a health and social care setting, preferably residential.
  • You will be a dedicated, passionate, kind, and caring person.
  • You will be flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A driver with a manual licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Males preferred due to service needs, but not essential.
