About the Role

Do you love London and enjoy sharing its history, culture, and iconic landmarks with visitors from around the world?

Guydeez is looking for Portuguese-speaking locals to lead private, personalized walking tours for small groups of international travelers. This freelance opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and creating memorable experiences.

No professional tour guide license is required. We value local knowledge, communication skills, and enthusiasm for showcasing London.

What You'll Do

  • Lead private walking tours tailored to guests' interests and preferences
  • Share stories and insights about London's history, neighborhoods, landmarks, and cultural heritage
  • Adapt each experience according to visitors' pace and interests
  • Provide authentic recommendations on local attractions, restaurants, and cultural experiences
  • Create a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience for guests
  • Optionally host food-focused experiences for visitors interested in local gastronomy

Who We're Looking For

  • Based in London or very familiar with the city
  • Fluent Portuguese is required
  • Strong knowledge of London's history, culture, and attractions
  • Friendly, confident, and engaging communicator
  • Comfortable leading walking tours lasting 3–8 hours
  • Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, customer service, or guiding is a plus but not required
  • Passion for culture, local experiences, and gastronomy is an advantage
