Want to join our growing community of trusted freelance medical writers?
We’re on the lookout for brilliant freelance medical writers to help us with our growing mix of healthcare communications work as new projects arise.
You’ll probably be a good fit if you have:
- A solid background in medical or scientific writing
- Experience working in a medical education or healthcare communications agency
- A knack for creating clear, accurate content for HCP audiences, whether educational or promotional
- A good understanding of agency life, including changing briefs, quick turnarounds, carefully balanced priorities and occasional biscuit-fuelled deadline sprints
- The ability to interpret briefs, manage clients, prioritise sensibly and keep projects moving
- Confidence working independently, with excellent attention to detail and, where relevant, a strong working knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice
Depending on your experience, you might support us across anything from creative campaigns and promotional materials to slide decks, publications, patient materials and the odd wonderfully niche scientific rabbit hole.
You’ll be working independently, but not in isolation. Our friendly in-house team will always be on hand to share knowledge, sense-check thinking, offer support and collaborate when needed. We’re a small team who like working with humans who are thoughtful, curious, rigorous and decent. Ideally all four.
If you’re an experienced medical writer looking for flexible freelance opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note that we’re building our freelance community for both current and future opportunities, so we may not have an immediate project available when you apply. We’ll keep your details safely on file and contact you if a suitable project comes up.
Due to the volume of applications, we won’t be able to respond to everyone. To help us keep things tidy behind the scenes, please only apply once. We promise we’ll have your details safely squirrelled away, not lost under a pile of marked-up slide decks.
