PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE A CAR OR UK DRIVING LICENCE AND ABLE TO USE A COMPANY HIRE CAR

DesRes London is a successful Home Staging business which has been operating for 17 years. Its mission is to dress properties to maximise their selling potential. These properties can be empty, owner-occupied or part-furnished.

I work for myself and call on freelancers to help depending on the size of a project. I already have one great freelancer who has been with me for over 10 years, BUT I need someone who owns a large car - estate or 4x4 in order to do shopping for my stock (soft furnishings, art and accessories only) or for clients and be able to take my soft furnishings, art and accessories to jobs and bring back left overs to my storage unit in Stockwell. I am looking for an experienced Homestager who can take on jobs with minimal supervision

You need to be South - West London-based, already a Home Stager or Home Stylist and have good availability Monday to Friday within relatively short notice. You need to be physically strong as we need to carry boxes and bags up and down stairs when staging. This is NOT a full time job and work can be very up and down and unpredictable. Likely to be about 2 days a week on average but not guaranteed.

Responsibilities will include, assisting with product research when sourcing (lighting, cushions, wall art etc..), installation process (EG dressing beds to a luxury standard, placement of furniture and accessories), storage maintenance and managing photos from staged properties.

It is a hands-on position requiring an enthusiastic, hardworking, confident, physically strong team player with a “can do”approach, a willingness to get stuck in, and a strong interest in Interiors Design.

Due to the nature of the business, the candidate will often be required to travel to properties and stores across London and furtherafar. Generally no more than within 1hr of London.

Qualifications and Essentials -1-3 years experience gained in home-staging and/or working as an interior stylist -Any qualifications in Interior Design or similar topics would be beneficial, but not essential.

- Computer literate, with working knowledge on MS Excel.

- Good knowledge of Social Media would be a great plus

- Holds a valid UK Driving License and owns a large car

- opportunity to take a leadership role in the long run

- Please note a day rate assumes 8hrs work. Sometimes only a half day will be required and hence the day rate is prorata.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: £210.00-£300.00 per day

Work Location: In person
