Lecturer for Sports Event Project – Bachelor B2

King Stage is an education institution specialising in sustainability, fashion, luxury hospitality and sports business. You will join a diverse and collaborative team that values new ideas, open communication and high-quality teaching. We work closely together to support our students and create engaging learning experiences connected to the realities of the sports business sector.

We are looking for an experienced teacher or industry professional to deliver the Sports Event Project unit to our Bachelor 2 students during Semesters 1 and 2.

Semester 1 – Module covered:

· Fundamentals of Project Management – 17.5 hours

Semester 1 teaching hours: 17.5 hours

Semester 2 – Module covered:

· Fundamentals of Sports Sponsorship – 17.5 hours

Semester 2 teaching hours: 17.5 hours

Total teaching hours: 35 hours

We are looking for someone with professional or teaching experience in project management, sports sponsorship, event planning, commercial partnerships, sports events, operations or business management.

Minimum requirements:

· A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification at UK Level 6

· A minimum of three years’ teaching, training or professional facilitation experience

· Relevant professional or academic experience in the subject areas covered

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver practical and engaging lessons using current examples from the sports and events industries. Students should be encouraged to apply their learning through case studies, workshops, project-planning exercises, sponsorship proposals, group projects and real-life event scenarios.

The course should also integrate innovative and sustainable approaches to project management and sports sponsorship, including responsible planning, efficient resource management, risk assessment, accessibility, ethical partnerships, community impact and sustainable event practices.

Location: London

Contract: Freelance / Part-time

Semester: Semesters 1 and 2

Teaching hours: 35 hours

Teaching period: September–May

Hourly rate: £45 per hour
