Full job description

We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Night Shift Parcel Sorters to join a well-established UK courier and parcel distribution company based in Sutton.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous warehouse, parcel sorting, logistics or distribution experience who are comfortable working night shifts in a busy depot environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Hand-sorting mail and parcels
  • Bagging and labelling parcels ready for delivery
  • Moving mail and parcels around the depot
  • Loading and unloading containers and vehicles
  • Scanning items accurately
  • Sorting parcels into the correct routes and locations
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working area
  • Working efficiently as part of a fast-paced depot team

Job Detaiils

  • Location: Sutton, SM3
  • Night Shift: 11:59 PM – until finish
  • Minimum 8-hour shift
  • Working Days: Monday–Friday, FULL-TIME
  • Start: Immediate
  • Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour – uplifted PAYE Umbrella rate
  • Payment: Weekly, one week in hand
  • Employment/Payroll: PAYE Umbrella

Please note: The advertised £17.00 per hour is an uplifted PAYE Umbrella rate. Candidates will be employed and paid through an umbrella payroll company rather than being self-employed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Safety boots and hi-vis jacket are requireddeducted from your first week's pay
  • Previous warehouse, parcel sorting, logistics or distribution experience is preferred
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and good timekeeping
  • Ability to work throughout the night shift until the work is completed
  • Must be available to start immediately
  • Must be willing to complete a DBS check

DBS CheckA DBS check is mandatory for this position. We will arrange the DBS application for you, and the cost will be deducted from your first week’s pay.

Pay: £17.00 per hour
