Transglobal Express is a well-established freight forwarder based in Hayes, providing reliable and efficient international shipping solutions, primarily by air. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service and building strong relationships with our clients and partners.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Manager to join our operations team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for managing export shipments from start to finish, with occasional involvement in import procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle air export shipments (occasionally sea) independently, including booking, documentation and customs clearance.
  • Coordinate with UK and overseas offices, agents, and partners to ensure smooth shipment flow.
  • Arrange and oversee import & export customs clearances.
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance across all job files and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on air exports (sea freight experience is a bonus).
  • Strong operational knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with ASM Sequoia is highly desirable.
  • Import & export customs clearance experience.
  • Experience with ETSF & Bonded Warehouse would be useful
  • Professional, proactive, and able to work independently.

Hours of work 40 hours per week between the hours of 9 - 5.30 or 10 - 6.30
