  • Work collaboratively with social workers, schools, healthcare professionals, CAMHS, and other agencies
  • Promote children’s rights, wishes, and involvement in decision-making
  • Support young people with education, routines, activities, and life skills development
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive home environment
  • Follow safeguarding, equality, diversity, and health and safety procedures at all times

Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of recent UK residential childcare experience
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working within children’s residential homes within the last 12 months
  • Experience supporting children with challenging behaviours, trauma, safeguarding concerns, or DOLS restrictions
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
  • Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Willingness and ability to relocate to Jersey for a minimum 3-month contract
  • Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available for this role
