Full job description

The role

We sell fragrance. Over a million bottles so far and thousands of orders a day. Paid ads have taken us this far. Now we are going all in on organic, and we want one person owning the camera.

You will be filming the founder daily. On the go, at our Leicester filming locations including the distribution centre, out and about, in meetings, wherever the day takes us. Stories go up every single day. Three posts a day across Instagram and TikTok. You shoot it, you cut it, you label it, you file it, and when a video underperforms you go back in and re cut it better.

This is not a role where you get a brief on Monday and deliver on Friday. It is fast, it is relentless, and the output is the job.

What you will actually do

Film the founder every day, both planned shoots and grab it now moments. Shoot and edit daily stories. Deliver three finished posts a day for Instagram and TikTok. Organise and label all footage so nothing gets lost. Re edit older content into stronger versions. Work directly with the founder and the creative team on angles, hooks and formats.

What you need

Professional filming experience with a portfolio we can watch. Agencies, brands, in house teams, all fine. We are not hiring freelancers and we are not hiring on potential.

You know Sony bodies inside out. We shoot on an FX3, so if you have lived on that camera you are already ahead. You understand lighting and audio well enough that we never have to fix it later.

You think in short form. Hooks, rehooks, knowledge gaps, retention. You should be able to watch a video and tell us in ten seconds why the first frame is losing people. Long form and short films are not what we do here.

You have grown a social page before, or been the person behind one that grew. That matters more to us than showreel polish.

You live in or near Leicester. This is an on site role, every day, with the team.
