Full job description

We are looking for a friendly and professional Dental Receptionist to join Damira Dental Studios at our Chipping Norton practice.

As the main point of contact for our patients within the practice, you will play a vital role in delivering a positive and seamless patient experience. From welcoming patients as they arrive to supporting them throughout their visit and ensuring a smooth checkout process, you will help ensure every patient feels supported, informed, and well cared for.

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking customer-focused individuals with previous customer service experience who are motivated to:
✔ Deliver excellent customer service at all times
✔ Book appointments and respond to patient queries
✔ Take payments accurately and efficiently

Key Responsibilities

✔ Accurately schedule appointments, manage booking requirements, and confirm up-to-date patient details
✔ Ensure patients complete medical history forms within the required timeframe
✔ Take payments from patients ahead of their appointments
✔ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions
✔ Ensure patients book their next recall appointment before leaving the practice
✔ Liaise with the Contact Centre team to support smooth appointment scheduling and payment processes

Performance Expectations

✔ Provide prompt, professional responses to all patient enquiries
✔ Work collaboratively with the Contact Centre team to ensure a seamless patient journey
✔ Maintain high standards of accuracy, professionalism, and customer care

Skills & Experience

Essential:
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔ Ability to commute daily to the practice
✔ Right to work in the United Kingdom

Desirable:
✔ Previous dental or healthcare reception experience
✔ Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
