Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Senior Wait Staff member to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will lead the service experience, ensuring guests receive exceptional hospitality and personalized attention. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and leadership skills will help create memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back. As a senior team member, you will also support training and mentoring junior staff, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to a positive, lively atmosphere.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and clarity
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
  • Provide exceptional guest service by addressing needs promptly and professionally
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience while increasing sales opportunities
  • Assist in food preparation and kitchen coordination to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Support training of new staff members, sharing best practices for service excellence and safety protocols

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments with a focus on guest services
  • Strong knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation skills
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with guests and team members
  • Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and POS transactions accurately
