A private family residence near Solihull is seeking an experienced, discreet Housekeeper to keep a fine country house immaculate. This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely cares about high standards and takes pride in a beautifully kept home. Your work will span all aspects of cleaning and laundry: detailed cleaning of all rooms, the careful care of antiques, period features and delicate surfaces, laundry, ironing and linen management, bed-making, and the day-to-day running of household supplies. From time to time you will help prepare the house for guests and entertaining, and reset it afterwards. We are looking for someone with experience in a private household or to comparable high-end standards, who is trustworthy, detail-focused and naturally discreet, with a sound knowledge of fabric, surface and antique care.
