Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive team environment. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, IT literacy, and a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with mobility and daily activities in accordance with care plans
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client conditions
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care
  • Drive between different locations if required, ensuring timely and reliable support
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to promote a safe environment for clients and staff
  • Contribute to the development and review of individualised care plans in collaboration with the care team
  • Promote independence and dignity for all clients through respectful interactions

Requirements

  • Valid driving licence and ability to drive between locations if necessary
  • Experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable
  • Knowledge of care plans and procedures relevant to personal support roles
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and records
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to providing person-centred care
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary

Pay: £14.06 per hour
