Full job description

Location: Elite Fine Foods Limited

Salary: £29,120.00 per annum

About the Role:

This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of the depot, with a particular focus on stock accuracy, product control and operational efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, working with data and making sure processes are followed correctly.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: Wednesday - Sunday, 08:00-16:30

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Processing returned stock from delivery routes and ensuring products are accurately checked and replenished back into warehouse locations.
  • Investigating stock discrepancies, damages, shortages and product returns.
  • Maintaining stock accuracy through regular stock counts and stock investigations.
  • Monitoring damaged, short-dated and quarantined stock.
  • Supporting stock takes and audit requirements.
  • Producing operational reports and highlighting trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and operational documentation.
  • Supporting operational investigations and continuous improvement initiatives across the depot.
  • Building strong working relationships with warehouse, transport and management teams.

About You:

You may already be working in warehousing, stock control, logistics, inventory management or operational administration and be looking for your next challenge.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent attention to detail.
  • Enjoys investigating issues and finding solutions.
  • Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Is confident using IT systems and working with data.
  • Communicates effectively with people at all levels.
  • Takes pride in maintaining accurate records and processes.

Experience within a warehouse, logistics or food distribution environment would be advantageous but is not essential
