Dental Receptionist

This is a full time position but a job share will also be considered.

A great opportunity has arisen at Cowbridge Dental Specialists. We are looking for an enthusiastic dental receptionist to join our multi-disciplinary practice in Cowbridge. Our focus is to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of treatment, efficiently and in a clean and comfortable environment. The ideal candidate to have excellent communication and IT skills and have a desire to develop their potential. We are looking for the right person to join our small friendly team.

We will expect you to have exceptional customer service skills and provide a high-level service to our patients.

Reception Duties involve:

· Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice.

· Responding to enquirers in a professional and friendly manner.

· Scheduling appointments for patients, and planning the dairy effectively.

· Keeping patients informed of any necessary information.

· Maintaining patient records accurately.

· Collecting payments and recording them.

· Dealing with outstanding payments.

· Writing letters and emails to patients.

· Ordering and maintaining stationary supplies.

· Keeping the reception and waiting area tidy.

Essential skills and experience required:

· Previous experience in healthcare is preferred.

· Outstanding customer service skills and IT skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Confidence and an empathetic nature.

Schedule:

· Monday-Friday (no weekends)

· 8 hour shifts

· No late evenings

Salary will depend on experience and will be discussed at second interview.

Pay: From £13.75 per hour
