Full job description

Vehicle Service Advisor - Jaguar Land Rover Swansea

Full Time | Permanent | Up to £35,500 OTE | 42.5 hours a week Monday to Friday

Be the reason our clients trust us.

At Jaguar Land Rover Swansea we believe exceptional ownership is built on relationships, not transactions.

Every conversation, every update and every vehicle handover is an opportunity to strengthen the trust our clients place in us.

As part of The Sinclair Way, our vision is simple:

To create the UK's most trusted and relationship-led ownership experience.

We're looking for an exceptional Service Advisor who shares that ambition.

While experience within the motor industry is desirable, we're equally interested in people who genuinely care about others, communicate brilliantly and want to build long-term relationships with our clients.

The Role

As a Service Advisor, you are far more than the link between our clients and our workshop.

You are the face of our aftersales experience and one of the most important ambassadors of The Sinclair Way.

From the moment a client books their vehicle until the moment they drive away, you'll ensure every interaction builds trust, demonstrates expertise, shows genuine care, delivers proactive communication and creates an experience that clients remember.

The Sinclair Way

Everything we do is guided by five commitments.

Trust

Build confidence by doing what you say you'll do, taking ownership and acting with honesty and integrity.

Expertise

Provide knowledgeable, professional advice that helps clients make informed decisions with confidence.

Care

Treat every client as an individual, taking time to understand their needs and delivering a genuinely personal experience.

Communication

Keep clients informed at every stage of their journey through proactive, clear and timely communication.

Experience

Create memorable ownership experiences that leave clients feeling valued and wanting to return.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client service and repair bookings from enquiry through to vehicle collection.
  • Prepare thoroughly for every client appointment.
  • Work closely with technicians to communicate vehicle health checks, recommendations and repair progress.
  • Help clients make informed decisions regarding additional maintenance or repair work.
  • Deliver proactive updates throughout the client's visit.
  • Maintain accurate job records, costings and digital documentation.
  • Work confidently within our paperless systems.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.
  • Consistently deliver the standards expected of Land Rover Hyundai Modern Luxury and The Sinclair Way.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service.
  • Builds trust and lasting relationships naturally.
  • Is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment while remaining organised and calm.
  • Has excellent attention to detail.
  • Embraces technology and digital ways of working.
  • Enjoys taking ownership and solving problems.
  • Works collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.

What Success Looks Like

At Sinclair, success isn't simply measured by productivity or sales.

Success is measured by:

  • Clients who trust us.
  • Clients who choose to return.
  • Clients who recommend us.
  • Relationships that last.
  • Delivering The Sinclair Way in every interaction.

What We Offer

  • 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing with length of service.
  • Birthday day off.
  • Contributory Pension Scheme.
  • Enhanced family leave policies.
  • Manufacturer and in-house training.
  • Staff discounts on parts and servicing, plus a complimentary MOT.
  • Long Service Recognition Awards.
  • Life Assurance.*
  • Referral schemes.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Sinclair Foundation support.
  • Career development opportunities across the Sinclair Group.

Join us in creating the UK's most trusted and relationship-led ownership experience.

If you're passionate about people, committed to delivering exceptional service and want to be part of a team that's redefining the ownership experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and become part of The Sinclair Way.
