Full job description

Speight Removals have been trading since 1891 in Sheffield and we are looking for Experienced Removal Porter to join our team. We work out of Hillsborough. Our ideal candidates will have removal experience in Export Packing, Loading, Dismantle and Rebuild etc, however we are happy to train, you must be well presented and polite, with a positive attitude.

Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy, physically fit and healthy with a friendly, professional, approach. It is essential that you are an excellent team player, can follow instructions, use your own initiative and that you genuinely enjoy meeting new people.

You will be involved in supporting the General Manager and Move Managers, controlling your team, dealing with customer and daily duties of completing removals. Doing residential and commercial moves on daily basis. This includes clearing, dismantling, rebuilding, packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading of our client's furniture and belongings.

A good level of fitness along with attention to detail are an absolute must. This is a fast-paced and competitive industry, which is physically challenging. We operate from Monday to Saturday with some long hours, there will be some level of working away from home required, with an overnight allowance payable.

In return we offer self employed contracts, however we could offer full time position for the right candidate.

Additional Pay for Sunday.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
