About Us

On Call Doctors is a premier private GP and specialist clinic located on the beautiful Fylde Coast. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, bespoke healthcare services. As we continue to expand our clinical and corporate offerings, we are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Practice & Business Manager to lead our team, secure operational excellence, and drive business growth.

This is a unique, dual-focused role blending meticulous healthcare operations with proactive business development. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our onsite team and contracts, ensuring our regulatory standards are exemplary while simultaneously acting as the commercial face of the clinic to expand our client base.

​Key Responsibilities
​Operational & Staff Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of the private clinic, managing onsite clinical and administrative staff, rotas, and performance.
​Contract Management: Maintain, review, and optimize vendor and corporate client contracts to ensure seamless operations and value.
​CQC Excellence: Drive compliance, regular audits, and Quality Improvement (QI) frameworks. We are currently rated 'Good' and are looking for a leader who can strategically elevate us to 'Outstanding'.

​Business Development: Proactively engage with local businesses, corporate clients, and the community to market and sell our private GP, diagnostic, and wellness services.
Requirements (Absolute Essentials):
​Proven experience in practice management within a private healthcare or NHS setting.
​Deep understanding of CQC regulations, compliance, and a track record of implementing successful audit and QI processes.
​Strong leadership skills with experience managing onsite multi-disciplinary teams.
​A commercial mindset with experience or strong capability in business development, sales, or corporate networking.
​Excellent communication and organizational skills.
