About Us

We are a world-renowned specialist automotive business, dedicated to restoring and supplying parts for the Nissan Figaro. We pride ourselves on exceptional quality, a passionate customer base, and an exciting phase of digital and physical growth.

The Role

Working directly alongside the Managing Director you will be the core driver of our Parts Department. This is a multi-faceted, hands-on leadership role that blends website and e-commerce management, product development, physical stock control, and people leadership.

You will oversee our digital sales channels (including our bespoke website and eBay store), seek out product development and cost-saving opportunities, keep our physical warehouse meticulously organised, and manage a growing team. If you are highly organised, commercially minded, and thrive on taking ownership of both digital and physical operations, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website Management & Digital Sales

  • E-Commerce Maintenance: Manage and maintain our sales websites (including The Nissan Figaro Shop and eBay), ensuring product listings, pricing, and stock levels are optimised to maximize sales while avoiding overselling.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Collaborate with the General Manager and marketing team to launch direct marketing, email promotions, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Telesales & Enquiries: Proactively handle phone, email, and walk-in customer inquiries, turning leads into sales and identifying up-sell opportunities.

2. Product Development & Commercial Strategy

  • Product Development: Research, source, and develop new stock items to expand our catalogue and drive business growth.
  • Cost Savings & Pricing: Monitor supplier price increases, research cost-saving opportunities, and control retail pricing on our Dragon2000 management system to maximize profitability.
  • Reporting: Attend weekly management meetings with the MD to report on sales, profit margins, stock levels, and progress against monthly targets.

3. People Management & Leadership

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor our part-time parts assistant.
  • Team Growth: Partner with the General Manager to scale and develop the parts team as the business expands.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Hold weekly workload planning meetings with the Bodyshop and Workshop Managers to coordinate the parts required for vehicle refurbishment over the coming 7 days.

4. Outstanding Organisation & Stock Control

  • Warehouse Management: Organise, clean, and maintain the parts warehouse to ensure efficient dispatch, stock rotation, and a highly professional environment.
  • Order Fulfilment: Manage the complete end-to-end process of parts orders, shipping, and dispatch, ensuring deliveries are tracked and customer expectations are managed.
  • Office & Admin Control: Oversee the parts office, managing digital filing, spreadsheets, invoicing, and payment processing through our Dragon2000 system.
  • Facility Security: Share joint responsibility for opening/closing the parts building and maintaining site safety and security.

What We’re Looking For

  • E-Commerce & Digital Experience: Proven experience managing online sales channels (e.g., eBay, Shopify, WooCommerce) and updating product listings and pricing.
  • Strong Leadership & People Skills: Experience managing or supervising staff, with the ability to collaborate effectively with workshop managers and directors.
  • Exceptional Organisation: A highly organised individual who loves creating order out of chaos—both digitally and physically.
  • Commercial Drive: A proactive approach to sales, upselling, and identifying product development or cost-saving opportunities.
  • Industry Experience (Desirable): Experience in the automotive, parts, or manufacturing sectors is highly advantageous. Experience with the Dragon2000 dealer management system is a plus but not essential.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • 20 days annual leave (Plus Bank Holidays).
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Exciting opportunity to shape, grow, and lead your own department.
  • Fre Parking, Staff Discounts and Benefits Scheme

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 07:30 – 17:15 (additional hours may be required to attend shows and specialist events)
  • On-site position.

To apply, please submit your CV along with a brief cover letter highlighting your experience in e-commerce/website management and team leadership.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Employee mentoring programme

  • Free parking
