Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a GP Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and ensure smooth communication between patients and medical staff. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional patient experiences and supporting the efficient running of the practice. Applicants must be fully flexible to cover annual leave and sick leave.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming environment
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, directing inquiries to appropriate staff members
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes seamlessly
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and update electronic health records regularly
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and managing correspondence
  • Support the team by managing inventory of office supplies and ensuring the reception area remains tidy and professional

Skills

  • Previous office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills
  • Administrative experience with proficiency in managing schedules and records
