Job Overview

Full-time | Salary dependent on experience

Courtyard Surgery is looking for an organised, proactive and approachable Assistant Practice Manager to join our management team.

This is an important role supporting the Practice Manager with the day-to-day running of a busy GP surgery, helping to ensure services run efficiently and patients receive a high standard of care.

Responsibilities will include staff management and development, appointment and rota management, patient complaints, CQC compliance and governance, and improving practice systems and processes. You will also support the smooth running of patient services, premises and general practice operations, deputising for the Practice Manager when required.

About you

You must have previous experience working in a GP surgery and a good understanding of general practice operations. Experience using SystmOne would be desirable.

You will have strong organisational and communication skills, be confident supporting staff and managing competing priorities, and have a proactive, practical approach to problem-solving.
