GP Surgery jobs in Galleywood

We are seeking to recruit two experienced GP Receptionists / Care Coordinators to join our friendly and supportive practice team. These are part-time positions within a busy GP surgery, working closely with clinicians and administrative staff to support the smooth running of daily patient services.

We are specifically looking for candidates with previous GP practice experience and confidence using SystmOne. Knowledge of Anima or similar systems is desirable. The role requires individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care and communication.

This is also an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career within general practice administration, with opportunities to gain experience in areas such as medical secretarial work, referrals management, and clinical document scanning/coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for patients via telephone and face-to-face
• Managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and general patient enquiries
• Using Anima to support patient triage, workflow, and digital requests
• Using SystmOne to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Signposting patients to appropriate services and clinicians
• Supporting care coordination and patient follow-up tasks
• Processing incoming clinical correspondence in line with practice protocols
• Supporting prescription requests
• Working closely with clinicians to support efficient daily workflow
• Providing a professional, efficient, and patient-focused reception service

Pay: £12.75 per hour
