Full job description

Boroughbury Medical Centre are recruiting an additional Prescription Administrator to join our growing Medicines Management Team. This is a key support role for both patients and clinicians.

Role

We are offering a 25 hour per week post

Monday to Friday

1pm until 6pm each day

Where are we located?

We have three surgeries, one based in Werrington, one based at Paston and another at Craig Street in Peterborough’s city centre. For this role you will be required to work at our Craig Street branch.

What you will be doing?

· Processing prescriptions requests

· Facilitation and promotion of prescription ordering systems for patients

· Resolving medication queries

· Working closely with healthcare professionals following organisational policies and
protocols

· Call handling inbound and outbound

· Face to face patient customer service

· Team working to process workflow

Other associated duties as required by the Manager of the department.
