Job Description:

Tech Centre are the largest independent repairer of consumer electronics in the UK and conduct repairs for companies such as CeX, Toshiba, DHL and many more.

As part of our continued expansion, we are on the lookout for experienced, motivated and enthusiastic people to work within our growing Games Console/Controller Repair Team.

As part of this role you’ll be repairing new/old generation Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo controllers. In addition, you'll need strong repair skills in electronics and IT. You'll also need to be driven, a good communicator and be able to efficiently manage your own time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work as part of a team to identify and repair fault(s)/damage on Sony PlayStation, Microsoft XboX and Nintendo controllers
  • Achieve individual daily repair target
  • Maintaining/surpass Tech Centre’s stringent quality standards

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience (professional or informal) in repairing consumer electronics is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
  • Strong interest in technology
  • Ability to work in a target driven environment
  • Resilience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Computer literacy

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and computer hardware
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting
  • Experience in computer repair and maintenance
  • Mechanical knowledge for working with games consoles and controllers
