  • Tools & Procedural Pipelines: Design and build custom internal production tools, automation scripts, and procedural systems, utilising Unreal PCG to automate and streamline artists' workflows.
  • Performance & Optimisation: Profile, benchmark, and debug real-time application performance on target PC hardware. Apply memory management, draw-call reduction, and frame-rate optimisation strategies.
  • Engine AI & Automation: Code and integrate AI agent behaviours, logic workflows, and automated testing/execution features directly within the engine.

Web & Full-Stack Development (Desirable)

  • API Architecture & Integrations: Connect real-time engine applications to external data services by designing, building, and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs and backend integrations (utilising web fundamentals like JavaScript/Node.js).
  • Full-Stack Application Delivery: Architect and deploy end-to-end web applications incorporating responsive React frontends, robust SQL database schemas, and industry-standard security protocols (authentication, encryption, CORS).

Technical Project Management & Delivery

  • Agile Execution: Proven track record leading sprint planning, task allocation, issue triage, and milestone delivery using Jira and structured tracking frameworks.
  • Version Control: Experience using Perforce for robust pipeline and asset management.
  • Technical Feasibility & Standards: Conduct risk assessments, benchmarking, and prototyping to establish clear pipeline standards and technical guidelines prior to project rollout.
  • Documentation & QA: Maintain detailed technical documentation (architecture diagrams, API specs, deployment guides) and report routinely on application performance metrics and system stability.
