Join our dynamic team as a Giftware Department Assistant, where your skills and passion for retail excellence will shine! In this role, you will help create an engaging shopping experience for our customers. Your energetic approach will deliver outstanding service. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring that our giftware offerings captivate and delight every visitor.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Giftware manager and supervisor and work within the giftware team, to price and display products, achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Get 100% involved with cleanliness, health and safety, inventory control, merchandising, and visual displays to maximize appeal and sales potential.
  • Learn about and become skilled in the buying of products, across all giftware categories.

Requirements

  • Experience in a retail or giftware environment.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and time management abilities
  • Experience in administrative tasks such as handling customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service excellence
  • Familiarity with retail software systems (EPOS) is a plus
