Garden Centre Assistant jobs in Podington

We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our seasonal team. You will be working in our Gardening or Foodhall departments, helping with stock replenishing, department support and customer service.

Our ideal candidate will be a team player, have proven customer service skills ideally from a retail environment and be reliable and motivated. You must have an approachable and friendly manner in keeping with the ethos of the business, be able to develop excellent product knowledge and have the ability to build positive relationships with customers.

Our gardening candidate must have the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. This role will require heavy lifting to move around stock. Physically demanding work at times, must have the ability to work with pace and urgency.

All candidates must be able to work alternate weekends, Saturday and Sunday all day.

A warm and friendly manner is essential and a genuine desire to offer great service.

This position is seasonal.
