Job Title: Hospitality Assistant
Location: RHS Garden Wisley, GU23 6QB

Salary: £12.71 per hour
Contract: 16-hour weekly guaranteed minimum. Working across venues that have a 7 day a week operation.

We're always on the lookout for enthusiastic Hospitality Assistants to join our fantastic fine dining restaurant at RHS Garden Wisley, on a part-time basis. As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be part of a hard-working, friendly team who all have the same goal – to deliver exceptional customer service to our visitors. RHS Garden Wisley covers 240 acres and is open all year round. There are multiple food outlets on site, ranging from a restaurant to cafés.

A successful Hospitality Assistant will play a key front-of-house role, creating a welcoming and positive experience for every visitor. You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, serving food and drinks, handling transactions, and maintaining clean and inviting service areas, while ensuring all health, hygiene, and food safety standards are consistently upheld.

Shifts:

Shifts will vary between Monday to Sunday. Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates should be flexible and able to work weekdays and weekends. Hours will vary depending on the needs of the business, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week.

Our ideal Hospitality Assistant will have:

• Proven experience hospitality/catering
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service, greeting every visitor warmly and serving with a positive attitude
• The confidence to take initiative and make decisions that enhance the overall customer experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive, proactive attitude with a strong desire to succeed
