We are looking for an experienced plant area assistant to help look after our large plant area. We are a large family run garden centre in the heart of Kent.

Horticultural plant knowledge is essential.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintain good stock control.
  • Co-operate fully with your manager
  • Ensure all queries and complaints are handled efficiently
  • Customer Service expectations are exceeded
  • Sales opportunities are generated through interaction with customers
  • Seasonal displays are designed and maintained

We are looking for people with:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working in a retail plant department and/or a horticultural qualification.
  • A passion for customer service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • You will be flexible, enthusiastic and highly motivated
