Full job description

At Greentec are seeking a skilled Team Leader to head a small crew delivering premium grounds maintenance and project work. Our portfolio includes high-end private estates, retirement communities, and commercial properties. We provide full advanced training (machinery maintenance, plant ID, and Health & Safety). If you are a passionate gardener ready to lead by example, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Site Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and coordinate a small team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a premium standard.

Horticultural Care: Oversee and execute plant cultivation, precision pruning, turf management, and seasonal garden projects.

Equipment & Safety: Ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and organization of all machinery, maintaining strict adherence to on-site Health & Safety.

Client Relations: Act as the professional on-site contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements

Experience: Proven background in garden maintenance, ideally with prior senior or supervisory experience.

Technical Skill: Confident operating commercial gardening machinery and tools, with strong practical knowledge of plant care.

Leadership: Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills to guide a team and manage daily schedules.

Logistics: A valid UK driving license and the physical fitness required to work outdoors year-round.
