Full job description

Are you an experienced greenhouse or shed fitter looking for consistent, well-paid local work? We are expanding our nationwide network of self-employed fitters and want to hear from you.

We are a global market leader and operate across 30+ display sites across the UK selling quality greenhouses, sheds, home offices and garden buildings. As demand continues to grow we need skilled fitters to carry out customer installations at sites local to you — giving you a steady, reliable income, with the full freedom of self-employment.

You will:

  • Appear on our Suggested Fitter List allowing customers to contact you directly to organise quotes and agree for work to be done
  • Have proven experience fitting greenhouses, sheds, garden rooms or similar structures to allow you to competently assemble and install our buildings at customer properties and possibly at our display sites
  • Remove and deliver ex-display models from our dispaly sites to customer properties
  • Complete installations to a consistently high standard and ensure the site is clean and tidy after
  • Work independently at sites local to your home area or further afield if you chose
  • Continue the positive customer experience our display staff have provided - exceptionally good customer service is a must
  • Manage your own schedule and workload
  • Have your own van and tools
  • Be based anywhere on the UK mainland - we will include you on the appropriate Local Fitter ListIn return you will:
  • Receive competitive self-employed rates per installation - you set your own rates
  • Have a regular and reliable flow of local work, throughout the year
  • Benefit from a flexible schedule — you are your own boss

N.B. This is a self-employed contract role only. There is no employment relationship, PAYE, holiday pay or employee benefits associated with this position. You will be responsible for your own tax, National Insurance and public liability insurance arrangements. The pay advertised is an estimate and is based on you assembling our buildings and doing other work, including other greenhouse brands.

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
