Part-Time Freelance Gardener Required

Fiore Gardens Ltd is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Freelance Gardener to join our friendly team for 16-32 hours per week.

We maintain and develop a portfolio of beautiful private gardens across Bath and the surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is passionate about plants and gardens.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous professional gardening or horticultural experience.
  • Good plant knowledge, including the ability to identify a wide range of herbaceous perennials and shrubs.
  • Knowledge of correct pruning methods and timings for plants such as roses, wisteria, shrubs and climbers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, hardworking and professional with a positive attitude.

This is a skilled gardening role, and we are looking for someone with genuine horticultural knowledge and practical experience rather than someone seeking a general garden labouring position.

The Role Includes

  • General garden maintenance.
  • Planting and soft landscaping.
  • Pruning roses, wisteria, shrubs and climbers.
  • Weeding and maintaining borders.
  • Hedge cutting.
  • Lawn mowing
  • Seasonal cutting back and garden tidy-ups.
  • Watering, feeding and deadheading.
  • Hours: 16-32 hours per week, flexible across weekdays.

Pay: Negotiable depending on experience.

As this is a freelance position, applicants will need to be registered as self-employed.
