An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and knowledgeable gardener to join our ever-expanding team at Majestic Garden Care.

Gardening in a variety of private, domestic garden environments to a very high standard. Duties to include weeding, planting, pruning, hedge cutting, grass cutting and all other aspects of gardening.

We are a professional garden care company who offer a very high standard to our customers. The ethos of Majestic Garden care is to produce a prestigious look to all gardens. We are based approximately 6 miles east of Canterbury.

The successful candidate must have good plant identification knowledge & pruning experience, be reliable and have the ability to work on own and as part of a team, plus:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a full-time professional, paid gardener (this does not include hobby gardening or in your own/family garden)
  • An eye for detail
  • Work to a consistent high standard
  • Be motivated, reliable, honest & punctual
  • Flexible (may include some weekend work)
  • Tidy appearance and good customer communication skills
  • Full UK Driving license required
  • PA1 & PA6 preferred, but not essential
  • Horticultural qualifications preferred, but not essential
  • Have a real interest in gardening and be prepared to undertake physically demanding work outdoors in all weather.

Salary range £23,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience.

Short telephone interviews will take place to screen candidates prior to any formal interview invitation.

Working hours are between 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional weekend work.

Salary is dependent on experience. This is a permanent full time role (part time also considered), but there will be an initial 3 month probation period.
