We are recruiting for a lawn technician to be based from our Carnaby and Tickton site to cover all of Hull and East Yorkshire working within a small team of 3 people.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Job Function
To carry out planned service programme on customers' lawns - spreading fertiliser, spraying herbicides, scarifying, hollow tining etc. distributing invoices, sales literature and collecting payment as necessary.

Customer Service
Ensure that customer service is of the highest level, applying feeds and treatments accurately as trained and planned. Presenting oneself in a professional manner in company clothing, fulfilling the day-to-day liaison with customers.

Paperwork and Administration
Fully complete necessary documentation accurately, particularly customer payments and application records.

Health & Safety
Ensure that all necessary Health & Safety requirements are fulfilled, in respect of customers, colleagues and yourself. Particularly in respect to COSHH, movement of goods and chemical handling, storage and spraying (using NPTC guidelines).

Working in Compliance with Legislation
Fully trained in the use and handling of chemicals PA1 and PA6 qualification preferred however training can be provided.

Sundry Tasks
Generating interest and leads with customers, including leaflet distribution.

Customer quotations where applicable.
Ensuring all equipment including your vehicle are regularly cleaned and maintained in good working order.
To be flexible in working arrangements, assisting in other aspects of the company as necessary.

Flexible Working Arrangement
The working week is five days. On average 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week).
If we cannot work due to the weather, you will be required to re-schedule any work for that day to ensure that all work is completed within the required timescale. This may necessitate very occasional Saturday working. Other duties will be needed to be completed as necessary.

Salary: £26,000.
