Overview
We are seeking a skilled Garden Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with practical experience using a variety of tools and techniques to ensure the health and aesthetics of outdoor spaces. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about gardening and landscape care to apply their expertise in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain garden by mowing Strimming weeding and hedgecutting
  • Operate hand tools, power tools safely and efficiently
  • Experience with ride on mowers
  • Conduct regular inspections of outdoor areas to identify maintenance needs.
  • Apply horticultural practices to promote good garden management
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working order through routine cleaning and servicing

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance roles
  • Practical knowledge of using hand tools, power tools.
  • Experience with plants, shrubs, trees, and other garden flora
  • Strong understanding of horticultural practices
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks over extended periods in various weather conditions
