About Elmtree

We’re a Bristol-based landscaping company delivering high-quality landscape construction and grounds maintenance across the region. Our work includes new-build housing developments and commercial sites, and we’re proud of the strong reputation we’ve built over the years.

We’ve received several industry awards, including Employer of the Year and Supreme Winner at the Pro Landscaper Business Awards 2022, as well as multiple BALI Awards for project excellence.

We’ve got a high staff retention rate and a positive, supportive culture where people are encouraged to grow. Many of our team members have developed into more senior roles through on-the-job experience and ongoing training.

Here’s what our team say:

“There’s space to put forward ideas, and we’re encouraged to try new approaches.”

“Since joining, I’ve had the chance to develop my skills and take on more responsibility.”

The Role

We’re looking for experienced landscaping supervisors to lead soft landscaping teams on commercial projects and high-spec new-build developments.

You’ll be responsible for organising site teams, interpreting plans, ensuring high standards of finish, and keeping things running smoothly on site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising day-to-day soft landscaping works
  • Reading and working from site plans
  • Turfing, planting, seeding, and mulching
  • Coordinating with site managers and internal teams
  • Maintaining a safe and well-organised working environment

We value people who take pride in their work and help us maintain the high standards our clients expect.

What We’re Looking For

  • Recent experience turfing and planting on commercial or new-build developments
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to read and follow landscaping plans
  • Strong plant knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Good communication skills
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach

What We Offer

  • £16 - £18 per hour (based on experience)
  • Full-time, permanent contract
  • 28 days' holiday including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time roles)
  • Support from a knowledgeable management team
  • Opportunities to progress further within the company
  • Discretionary annual bonus scheme based on attendance, conduct, and overall contribution throughout the year

Up to £1,000 signing-on bonus available!

We’re offering up to £1,000 as a signing-on bonus for experienced commercial landscapers who are ready to hit the ground running. If you’ve got solid, recent experience and want to be part of a growing team, we’d love to hear from you. Terms apply.
