Full job description

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team in maintaining and repairing the Treehouse our new and exciting site. You will also be required to perform Health and Safety checks and assistant in driving vehicles when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining grounds by mowing lawns, clearing leaves and gritting paths when necessary
  • Inspecting, fixing and maintaining equipment
  • Completing scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and identifying when items need upgrading or replacing
  • Liaising with contractors to ensure that they complete projects on time
  • Painting and decorating
  • Supporting Short Breaks Management team to be complaint with Health and Safety checks
  • Lead the gardening volunteers
  • Assisting with driving vehicles to meet the needs of the charity

What we need from you:

  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Proven practical skills in areas such as carpentry, decorating, plumbing and garden maintenance
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Full UK Manual Driving License
