Handyperson - FM Service Provider – Temp - St James Court - Starting Immediately - £17 per hour
A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in St James Court, London. CBW is currently looking for a Handyperson to be based in a commercial office building based in St James Court, London. Working with the maintenance team on-site, he or she will be required to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance across a commercial environment.
Hours of work
- The working days / hours will be 5 day a week with 2 flexible days off
- Morning shift : 09:00am - 17:30pm
- Late shift : 14.30pm - 23:00pm
- Immediate Start
- £17 per hour
- Temp on going
Key duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
- To undertake some plumbing activities including but not limited to clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, servicing systems etc.
- Liaising with the contract management team
- Investigating complaints and taking appropriate action
- Ensuring feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs
Requirements
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- An understanding of most building fabric duties (Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry, Basic Electrical, etc)
- Good communication skills
- Health & Safety experience
- Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
