Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain flower beds, borders, plants and landscaped areas, including weeding, pruning, planting and watering.
  • Maintain paths, verges, communal green spaces and other outdoor areas throughout the park.
  • Ensure all grounds are kept clean, tidy and well-presented throughout the seasons.
  • Safely operate and maintain gardening tools, machinery and equipment.
  • Identify and report any issues affecting the appearance, health or safety of the grounds.
  • Work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently, while supporting the wider park team when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a commercial gardener is essential.
  • Good practical knowledge and understanding of gardening, plant care and grounds maintenance.
  • Experience using lawn mowers, strimmer’s and hedge-cutting equipment.
  • Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions and across uneven, sloping or varied terrain.
  • A full, valid driving licence is essential due to the park’s location.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, use initiative and take pride in maintaining high standards.

Desirable Requirement

Horticultural Qualification, machinery tickets & Pesticides tickets.

What We Are Looking For
