Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in landscape maintenance and a desire to maintain outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on work in various gardening tasks, ensuring that gardens and landscapes are well-kept.

Duties

  • Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
  • Irrigate gardens effectively to ensure optimal plant growth and health.
  • Able to use hand tools such as spades, rakes, and shears for various gardening tasks.
  • Conduct ground keeping duties to maintain cleanliness and order in outdoor areas.
  • Operate power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as mowing lawns or trimming hedges.
  • Regularly assess any issues that require attention.

Skills

  • Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques with a keen eye for detail
  • Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in gardening tasks.
  • Understanding of ground keeping practices to maintain outdoor spaces effectively.
  • Ability and experience to use grass cutters,strimmers,hedge cutters ,adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple gardening tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Experience:

  • Landscape maintenance: 2 years (required)
