Landscape Team Leader
- Growing Business
- £35,000k base (experience dependent)
- Leadership role
Since establishing in 2020, Gorilla Grounds and Gardens LTD has grown to become a well-regarded and recognised local business in East Devon. The demand for what we do continues to expand and our teams are always busy.
It is time to add more high quality firepower and capabilities – that’s where you come in.
What we are looking for
To join the Gorilla team in this role you will need to be an experienced hard landscaper, with a portfolio and preferably qualifications to impress us with.
You will also bring with you team leadership potential / abilities, project organisation, planning skills, practical troubleshooting as well as the knowledge that leads to a fabulous result for each of our clients. You are hands on, ready to get stuck in and lead through example.
A full driving licence is absolutely essential and we would probably expect you to be at least competent in driving a digger. You’ll have a knowledge of materials, surfaces, techniques and be able to ensure jobs are run and finished to a high standard. You will be a natural with clients, keeping them informed and liaising with them professionally over in project decisions.
On top of all that, you will bring an attitude, enthusiasm and integrity that sets a standard among your peers and within your team. It has to mean more to you than just a clock in, clock out job.
What you expect from us
Firstly, you will be busy! Gorillas are well looked after, well rewarded, paid overtime when its due and are part of a wider developing team.
You will report to the owner and director of the business. There will be opportunities to step up within the business as it develops further.
The best equipment, machinery and tools available give you the opportunity to perform to the highest level. The business is well resourced and never shy of investing in kit that is required.
What to do now
Do some research. Take a look at You Tube, check out our web site and look at our reviews.
If it still sounds exciting, stimulating and somewhere you really want to be, we want to talk to you. Shoot us over a bit about you and your background with all your contact details to get the ball rolling. Include photos of projects completed by you, we’d love to have a look.
We always want to be hiring the right people, those that add to the totality of our team, set standards for themselves that lead us all forward and have the willingness and ability to grow and learn throughout their time in the Gorilla camp.
