Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Estate Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the beauty and functionality of our estate grounds.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and horticulture, with practical experience in operating various power tools and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, ensuring the estate remains pristine and well-kept.

The Role will include:
- Mowing of formal lawns.

- Carry out periodic lawn renovation and maintenance.

- Fertilising and preventative lawn treatment.

- General weed control.

- Strimming of required areas.

- Formal hedge trimming.

- Daily machine checks and washing.

- Periodic pressure washing of paved surfaces.

- Assisting with tree planting.

- Tree and plant watering.

- Mulching and aftercare of trees and shrubs.

- Processing of firewood.

- Assisting with event preparation.

- Perform any reasonable estate task as requested by your line manager.

Previous experience in green keeping an advantage. Alternatively, experience of groundskeeping, landscaping or a similar role.

- An in-depth knowledge of turf and how to maintain it.

- Basic tree knowledge and an understanding of tree care.

- Experience in the safe operation of machinery and use of power tools.

- Familiarity with the basic maintenance of machinery.

- Able to build and maintain professional relationships with staff.

- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a related field.

- Spraying certificates PA1 & 2.

- Chainsaw CS30.

- Full clean UK driving license.

Salary negotiable dependent on experience.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
