Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Gardener/Handyman/woman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces, ensuring landscape health, and performing a variety of handyman tasks to support the upkeep of our property. Your enthusiasm for gardening, horticulture, and general maintenance will help create inviting environments that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our grounds. Responsibilities

  • Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and weed control to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems efficiently to complete gardening and maintenance tasks with precision
  • Maintain garden beds, lawns, trees, shrubs, and flower displays to ensure optimal growth and visual appeal
  • Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems; troubleshoot and repair leaks or malfunctions as needed
  • Assist with general handyman duties such as repairing fences, gates, outdoor furniture, or other structures around the property
  • Follow horticultural best practices to promote plant health and sustainability through proper watering, fertilizing, and pest control
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report any issues requiring further attention

Skills

  • Proficiency with hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and spades for gardening tasks
  • Experience operating power tools including trimmers, blowers, drills, and saws safely and effectively
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting to ensure efficient watering practices
  • Growing experience with plants, flowers, shrubs, trees, and understanding of horticultural principles
  • Strong background in gardening techniques and landscape maintenance to sustain attractive outdoor environments
  • Ability to perform physical tasks requiring stamina; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to property upkeep
