Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Groundsperson.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Groundsperson to join our client in Clydebank. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for gardening, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance to develop their skills within a professional environment. The position involves working with various tools and machinery, contributing to the upkeep of our grounds in a safe and efficient manner.

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday, 0800-1700
Friday, 0800-1200

Responsibilities

  • Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and weed removal.
  • Jet washing of outdoor surfaces.
  • Temporary pothole repair and car park stones rearrangement.
  • Internal Grounds and Waste Management:
  • Litter picking and general upkeep of the yard.
  • Removal and replacement of blue recycling bins in different departments.
  • Collection and disposal of waste from shredders throughout the facility.
  • Pallet removal and disposal.
  • Reporting to plant maintenance when the recycling skips require an uplift such as cardboard, wood or metal.

Qualifications

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable.

Salary: £12.71 per hour
