Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of garden maintenance and landscape care, ensuring that our outdoor spaces are vibrant and well-kept. This role requires a hands-on approach to gardening, with responsibilities that include planting, irrigating, and maintaining various types of flora. If you have a love for nature and possess the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain gardens by planting, watering, and fertilising plants.
- Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal water supply for all plants.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and pruning as needed.
- Conduct regular groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas clean and tidy.
- Monitor plant health and growth, identifying any issues such as pests or diseases.
- Assist in the design of new garden layouts or enhancements to existing landscapes.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- MUST HAVE FULL CLEAN DRIVING LICENSE
To be able to start straight away.
Experience
- Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in gardening tasks.
- Knowledge of plant species and their growing requirements is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an outdoor environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
