The current manager is looking to retire so a very special opportunity is available to start your management career, a chance to develop your people and production skills, with full support given during the handover period. Brookhouse Nursery supplies Barton Grange Garden Centre with a bespoke range of products and planters including a just-in-time delivery service. This is not your normal factory-style growing and requires a special candidate

The business is successful and stable and is looking forward to finding the right person to join the team.

As well as managing the team, you’ll also be organising production plans, tackling challenges head-on, and implementing the best ways of working

Flexible time management skills are crucial to this role as the seasonal goals fluctuate throughout the year. We currently work an annualised hours scheme, the candidate will be required to work extra hours in the spring and take time off in lieu by mutual agreement.

Brookhouse has only one customer, the Garden Centre, you will need to learn about the company processes and contribute to their ongoing efficiency.

Ultimately you will be a hands-on manager, who will be responsible for maintaining the output of the individuals within the production areas of the business.
