Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with a commitment to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on work in various gardening tasks, ensuring that gardens and landscapes are kept in excellent condition.

Duties

  • Perform groundskeeping tasks, including planting, weeding, and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of gardens.
  • Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to ensure optimal growth and sustainability.
  • Assist in the growing of various plants, flowers, and shrubs according to seasonal requirements.
  • Carry out landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, fertilising, and pest control.
  • Operate power tools safely for various gardening tasks, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
  • Utilise hand tools for planting, digging, and other manual gardening tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of garden areas and tools to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills

  • Proficient in groundskeeping techniques with an understanding of plant care.
  • Knowledgeable in irrigation systems and their maintenance.
  • Experience in growing a variety of plants, flowers, and shrubs is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices to enhance outdoor aesthetics.
  • Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in a garden setting.
