• A permanent full-time Skilled Gardener is sought after to join a small friendly team maintaining a family owned estate in the Cotswolds.

The estate consists of parkland, formal lawns, immaculate hedges, small mixed borders, a small orchard, a productive kitchen garden, woodlands and natural ponds. There are also a few farm animals kept as pets and dogs who live in the house.

The successful candidate will be involved in the running of the kitchen garden as well as the day to day maintenance of the estate and supporting the rest of the team when needed.

Likely regular duties to include lawn edging, mowing, border maintenance, weeding, clipping topiary, pruning, watering, greenhouse management, assisting with the care of the farm animals. Applicants must have good all-round gardening skills, be physically fit and comfortable working alone at times. Estate work is varied and some flexibility is needed.

Applicants must have a relevant horticultural qualification, and proven experience as a gardener.
