Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of garden maintenance. This role involves nurturing and maintaining various garden areas, ensuring they remain healthy, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing. The Gardener will work both independently and as part of a team to create beautiful outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and pruning plants and trees.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to maintain garden areas.
• Assist in the planting, growing, and caring for a variety of plants, flowers, and shrubs.
• Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of garden areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify any issues or areas needing attention.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and equipment used in gardening tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members to design and execute landscaping projects.

Skills

• Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
• Experience using power tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of plant growth requirements and gardening best practices.
• Strong groundskeeping skills with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces.
• Ability to irrigate gardens efficiently while conserving water resources.
• Competence in using hand tools for various gardening tasks.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ideally hold chainsaw and other competence.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £100.00-£120.00 per day

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

Experience:

• Gardening: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
