Experienced Gardener
Full time
£29K+ DOE

A great opportunity to join our small but expanding company is available.

This is an exciting role for an experienced gardener with enthusiasm for horticulture to really develop their professional skills and knowledge.

Do you have -

• A full UK driving licence?
• Experience in garden maintenance?
• Experience and competence in using horticultural equipment including power and hand tools, blowers, hedge cutters, push mowers etc?
• A strong work ethic?
• Great time management?
• Good verbal and written communication skills?
• A can-do attitude and are pro active?

Are you:

• Horticulturally exceptional?
• Fluent in English?
• Meticulous and have incredible attention to detail?
• Able to work on your own and take responsibility for your work?
• Able to work positively as part of a team?
• Punctual and reliable?
• Discrete and respectful?

• Wanting to develop professionally?

General work responsibilities to include but are not restricted to:

• Driving the work vehicle to and from base and to all our gardens.
• Planting.
• Pruning and training shrubs either to formation or to promote healthy frameworks and flowering stems as dictated by species.
• Rose pruning.
• Pruning of small fruit trees.
• Identification of pests and diseases and the application of organic treatment (if required).
• Weeding.
• Fertilising and mulching.
• Mowing with a push mower.
• Leaf blowing.
• Maintaining indoor plants.
• Soft and hard landscaping.
• General upkeep and maintenance of the work vehicle.
• General upkeep and maintenance of hand and power tools.Immediate start.
• Ongoing training provided.
• Commute expenses covered (London zones only).

Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
