About us

Sunshine Gardens Baldock is a small business in Baldock, Hertfordshire. We are agile, and our goal is to provide a regular and reliable garden service to our customers. After 33 years we know what is expected by our customers and we are proud of what we deliver to them. .

Responsibilities:
- Perform general garden duties, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Use hand tools such as spades, forks, rakes, and pruners to maintain garden beds
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers for larger areas
- Keep garden areas clean and free of debris

Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance preferred
- Some plant knowledge preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently

Work Schedule Update – March 2025

Starting from March 2025, we will be moving to a 4-day workweek from Monday to Thursday, with shifts of 10 hours per day (7:45 AM – 6:15 PM). This schedule will be in effect from March to mid-October.

Additionally, you will be required to work one Friday every five weeks, depending on business needs. This extra day will be paid at your normal rate.

From mid-October onward, we will revert to a 5-day workweek, operating Monday to Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,750.00 per year
